the museum

The museum complex, staffed by volunteers from the Society, is situated on 1 hectacre with peaceful parkland surrounds comprising mostly Australian native trees and shrubs.

The buildings and layout of the complex depict the local history of the Gosford area. Besides the Henry Kendall Cottage, there is a museum, a slab timber shed, farm machinery shed and outdoor exhibitions.

Picnic tables and two wood-burning barbecues occupy a pleasant picnic area. Extra tables and chairs and an urn of boiling water are available if required.

Ample parking (and turning room for coaches) is provided within the complex.

See our Visit Us page for Opening Hours, Fees and other details.
